Mr Richard Janes (Marlborough & Solsbury Court, Bath, October 2012): Very pleased with accommodation, with a super breakfast.
Mr David Fisk (Eastwood Halls, Bath, October 2012): We found the booking process to be quick and efficient. We were met by friendly and helpful staff at reception (once negotiated the location on campus). Brilliant bus links to bath central from site so leave the car behind.
Rooms were clean and basic just what I was expecting and reflected in price paid. On site facilities shop, restaurant / bar very good value for money.
Would recommend and would return again in future.
Mr Darren Hayday (Marlborough & Solsbury Court, Bath, October 2012): The room was very basic but I guess that is what we would have expected.
The breakfast was lovely!
Ms Hazel Carrick (Westwood Halls, Bath, September 2012): The room itself was excellent. The showers and the kitchen in particular could be improved. Having cutlery and crookery would have been helpful. Staff were also very helpful and it was helpful that the office opened late.
Mr John Stockbury (Eastwood Halls, Bath, September 2012): This was my second visit this summer and I enjoyed both of them very much. The university provides excellent facilities for visitors and the bus service into Bath was particularly good.
Mr Mark Brooks (Marlborough & Solsbury Court, Bath, September 2012): We had a sudden need to weekend in Bath, the accommodation was basic (as expected) but clean and quiet. The shower was hot and refreshing. We had an excellent nights rest. The breakfast was excellent. Staff very helpful and made the whole experience very good.
Mr Jonathan Hewett (Woodland Court, Bath, September 2012): Our group were not aware of the extent of the eating options prior to arrival but if we had, we would have been more likely to use them as they were excellent. It may be worth promoting these better. All round an very good stay.
Miss Aisling O'Donnell (Woodland Court, Bath, September 2012): This is very basic accommodation. It really does look like undergraduate accommodation rather than B&B accommodation. It was cold, the bed was lumpy and the shower was not very powerful at all. However it seemed clean and was easy to find, quiet and not too far from the city centre (at a much lower price than anywhere else I could find in Bath!). So while my review is not exactly glowing, if you want to pay in this price range I think it's fine. Just don't expect it to be luxurious!
Ms Diana Moore (Marlborough & Solsbury Court, Bath, September 2012): Great place to say and easy to get to on the bus.
Should make it clealer onwebiste the bus numbers and was disappointed that there werern't even any cups to make a cup of tea - we'd bought our own tea bags! Other than that it was very good, thank you
Mrs Sheila Godwin (Polden Court, Bath, September 2012): The booking procedure and key collection were both very straightforward. Good location- would use again.
Miss Laura Hitchins (Polden Court, Bath, September 2012): Rooms were lovely and quiet. Had a good stay
Miss Barbara Pons Pons (Marlborough & Solsbury Court, Bath, September 2012): Very clean, good facilieties, 10min from the city center by bus. Great!
Mr Tim Backhouse (Woodland Court, Bath, September 2012): The room was clean and comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities, a hairdryer and television. I wasn't quite as keen on the en suite as it was like a wet room but with inefficient drainage. I was really pleased with the bus service to Bath, it was frequent, fast and very reasonable at £1.70 return. The overall facilities on the campus were good and the grounds of the university impressive . I would recommend a stay here. It's good value for money in a nice location.
Mr malcolm nichols (Woodland Court, Bath, August 2012): reception staff were exceptionally helpful and polite. thanks
Ms Vicki Parathira (Marlborough & Solsbury Court, Bath, August 2012): Very much value for money. The only weee winge mattress on bed not very supportive needs to be more supportive. Otherwise service brilliant Thankyou
Mr Iu Adell (Woodland Court, Bath, August 2012): Excellent value for money, very recommendable and would book again for sure. Also note the excellent bus connexions with BATH both in frequency and time.
Miss Josie Midwinter (Eastwood Halls, Bath, August 2012): I thought the price of £21 for B&B was very good and had an enjoyable stay
Thanks
Miss Josie Midwinter (Eastwood Halls, Bath, August 2012): I thought the price of £21 for B&B was very good and had an enjoyable stay
Thanks
Ms HEATHER CLARKE (Woodland Court, Bath, August 2012): We are grateful to staff and students who showed my daughter around the uni and talked through course options. Everyone was kind and helpful.
Miss Sarah Lanchin (Woodland Court, Bath, August 2012): Great stay thanks
Mr Robert O'Brien (Eastwood Halls, Bath, August 2012): I've stayed in Bath Uni accommodation before and intend doing so again. I only wish there were rooms in the winter months for the same cost. Excellent value.
Mrs Patricia Millward (Woodland Court, Bath, August 2012): The arrival directions, once on campus, could be better but staff and facilities very good. No carpet in room but very clean and toiletries an added bonus.
Will use this accommodation again on our next visit to Bath.
Miss Jenny Gable (Eastwood Halls, Bath, August 2012): The whole experience was excellent. I was on a stained glass course in Bath town and offered excellent value and also safety. The students were pleasant and facilities excellent too. Will stay again. Thank you.
Kind Regards, Jenny
Ms Helen Southwood (Eastwood Halls, Bath, August 2012): I was cold. If you could leave a blanket in the room for extra comfort, then I would have rated the stay good- excellent!
Ms Lyndsey Bonavia (Marlborough & Solsbury Court, Bath, July 2012): Thanks for your service!
Miss Helen Frank (Woodland Court, Bath, July 2012): Will recommend and if ever visiting Bath will stay here again. Facilities better than expected (tv, phone, towels, bathroom products etc) as for the price I assumed these would not be included! Great on site access to bar, cafe, bus etc. thank you!
Mr Simon Wilkins (Eastwood Halls, Bath, July 2012): Only problem was in the the first week out of the two toilets for a few days only one had toilet roll which is a bit of a pain. Apart from that the place is great value for money especially if there for a stay of more than a night or two you're happy cooking for yourself. Good kitchen facilities.
Mrs brenda green (Marlborough & Solsbury Court, Bath, July 2012): Would have welcomed a plug near the mirror and the ability to turn out the light without the need to get out of bed. Overall a very good eexperience and a convenient place to stay when on a short sightseeing visit to your city,
Thank you.
Miss Chloe Harford (Woodland Court, Bath, July 2012): University facilities excellent, great value for money, noisy students even in summer but to be expected as it is a university! Advice: book in during accommodation office hours as if it's late and dark it's difficult to find the security office to get your keys. Would definitely use again.
Mrs Mary Stephenson (Eastwood Halls, Bath, July 2012): Cheap accommodation which reflected in the room and facilities but showers hot and good company in the communial kitchen. Supermarket and restaurants on site and a wonderful experience. Mary
Mr James Walsh (Polden Court, Bath, July 2012): More than happy with room and service, room very clean and suitable, will stay again when next in Bath!
Miss Lydia Cheung (Eastwood Halls, Bath, July 2012): Managed to check in at 1am but had difficulty finding the library in the dark. The rooms are clean and toiletries are provided. Very good value for money.
Miss Jennifer Ross (Marlborough & Solsbury Court, Bath, July 2012): Had an ensuite room. Staff very helpful. Agree with other comments that more directions would be helpful once u get into the university grounds. Was pure luck that I ended up at the visitors car park that just happened to be right next to reception. Laundromat, cheap parking, toiletries and included breakfast were a bonus. My floor had a nice shared kitchen with kettle, stove, iron, microwave, fridge etc, but no cutlery or crockery. It's a very basic room, but for the price it's good value and is perfect for the single traveller if u don't need anything fancy.
Miss Joanna Fergusson (Marlborough & Solsbury Court, Bath, July 2012): The campus wasn't easy to find your way around, as there weren't enough sign posts. Other than that, it was excellent value for money, and I will be visiting again next year.
Mr PRANIL BORDE (Woodland Court, Bath, July 2012): excellent service ,safe & quite place, real value for money
Mrs jane hicks (Eastwood Halls, Bath, July 2012): Great facilities and campus. House can be very noisy if students/sports people are around. Lots of slamming doors etc.
Bring kitchen equipment...nothing there.
Mr Jason Green (Woodland Court, Bath, June 2012): Excellent place to stay! Very clean, friendly staff and the coffee facilities are spot on. Will be using them again in future!
Mr Jeremy Lewis (Woodland Court, Bath, April 2012): Overall, my stay was fine & will book with you again. Room was adequate - as expected, and the price and location on campus made it great value.
May be worth noting that I did struggle to find the entrance to the block - more detailed map and directions would have helped.
Mr Jonathan Conroy (Woodland Court, Bath, April 2012): Very impressed. Excellent facilities in room. Ideally located if watching sport. Only improvement to suggest is that room door should automatically lock when door closed from outside. Would be easy to forget
Mrs amanda finn (Woodland Court, Bath, March 2012): Room was clean, and had all the facilities that I needed.
As a distance learning student it was good to be able to book on site for my exams.
Have tried to re-book for 24th -26th October, but no rooms avaiable, so a little disappointed with this.
